Furniture assembly costs time, needs the right tools and is error-prone with large or complicated pieces. Koray Umzug takes on assembly of all furniture brands – from IKEA standard furniture and system shelving through to solid-wood pieces or custom-made items.
Our fitters work to manufacturer specifications and secure wall mountings properly with suitable wall plugs for every wall type – concrete, plasterboard, timber-frame or masonry. Every fixed element is checked for stability before we leave the premises.
Besides new assembly we also dismantle existing furniture for moves or renovations, as well as built-in wardrobes, wardrobe walls and similar elements. On request we dispose of dismantled pieces directly.
Transport is covered under our public-liability and goods-in-transit insurance; for storage we also recommend checking your household or stored-goods insurance.

Do you also assemble IKEA furniture without a move?
Yes. New deliveries are assembled on site. You only need to take the furniture in – we handle the rest.
Can you also take apart furniture I want to get rid of?
Yes. Dismantling and disposal are part of our service range. We take apart, load and dispose of or store the parts according to your wishes.
How long does assembly for a typical apartment take?
It depends heavily on the furniture volume. A bedroom set with wardrobe, bed and chest of drawers usually takes 2–3 hours. We give you an estimate in advance.
Do you bring the necessary tools?
Yes, our fitters are fully equipped – from cordless drills and spirit levels through to specialist tools for system hinges.
Do you also fit wall shelves and TV brackets?
Yes. Wall mountings of all kinds – shelves, TV brackets, mirrors, picture-frame systems – are part of our offer.
