Packing and unpacking service: boxes, protection and a system per room

Packing and unpacking service Zurich – move faster with a system, protection and a clear structure

A move rarely fails because of the transport; it almost always fails because of the work before and after: sourcing boxes, packing rooms systematically, protecting fragile items, unpacking at the destination and putting everything in a sensible place. That is exactly where our packing and unpacking service in Zurich comes in. Koray Umzug takes on the complete packing logistics so that you do not have to spend several evenings and weekends on boxes.

Our crew works to a clear packing plan per room. Kitchen inventory, glass, electronics, files and personal belongings are separated, labelled and secured with the right materials. For particularly fragile contents such as crockery, lamps, art objects or technical devices we use specialist materials such as tissue paper, bubble wrap, edge protection and sturdy moving boxes in the right size. That clearly reduces the risk of transit damage and at the same time shortens loading time on moving day.

The biggest advantage for many clients: you gain time you can plan. Instead of packing yourself, we coordinate the process with fixed time windows. On request we take on not only packing in the old property, but also structured unpacking in the new home or office. That way important areas such as the kitchen, bedroom or workplaces are ready sooner, and moving stress drops noticeably.

For company relocations a professional packing service is often decisive so that teams can keep working without a long interruption. We pack workplaces, technology and documents by department, label boxes clearly and set up the destination rooms to plan. That minimises search time, prevents mix-ups and supports a clean restart at the new site.

For private moves with children, tight time windows or a renovation running in parallel, a packing and unpacking service is also an effective relief. You set the scope: only kitchen and fragile items, only unpacking at the destination, or a complete all-inclusive packing service. Our offer is modular, calculated transparently and adaptable to apartment size, inventory volume and the service intensity you want.

On price, packing and unpacking depends mainly on volume, property size and material needs. For a typical 3-room apartment in Zurich we usually calculate between CHF 480 and CHF 1'250 for the packing/unpacking service alone, depending on scope. With extra specialist materials or a very high share of fragile items the price can be higher. After a short needs assessment you receive a traceable quote with clear line items.

Our quality standard is simple: every box must be labelled so it can be followed, every fragile piece protected and every room at the destination rebuilt efficiently. With Koray Umzug you do not get an off-the-shelf standard service, but a practical packing process that saves time, reduces damage and makes the move noticeably more pleasant overall.

Transport is covered under our public-liability and goods-in-transit insurance; for storage we also recommend checking your household or stored-goods insurance.
