International Relocation – professional and reliable with Koray Umzug GmbH

Service focus

International relocation Switzerland – customs, papers and EU transport from one provider

An international relocation differs fundamentally from a domestic one: customs forms, import rules, forwarding logistics and insurance requirements make the process complex. Koray Umzug takes on coordination of everyone involved and keeps you informed at every stage.

For EU moves we work with long-standing partner carriers and freight forwarders who know the respective national requirements. For moves to non-EU countries we prepare all customs documents and make sure your goods cross the border smoothly.

On request we integrate interim storage in our Swiss warehouse – for example if the move-in date at the destination is not yet fixed or part of the household is to arrive separately from the rest. That way you keep full control of timing and volume.

Transport is covered under our public-liability and goods-in-transit insurance; for storage we also recommend checking your household or stored-goods insurance.

FAQ about International Relocation

Which countries can you move to?

We cover all EU countries and, on request, also organise moves to selected non-EU countries. Please contact us for an individual assessment.

How long does an international relocation take?

EU moves typically take 3–10 days. For more distant destinations we plan a realistic timeframe together – always including lead time for documentation and planning.

What do I need to prepare for customs?

We walk you through the customs formalities step by step and prepare the necessary inventory lists. You only need to bring a valid address in the destination country and proof of the change of residence.

Can I transport only part of my household internationally?

Yes. We offer part-loads that are consolidated with other transports. That is more cost-efficient than an exclusive run for a small volume.

Is my inventory insured in transit?

Transport is covered under our public-liability and goods-in-transit insurance; for storage we also recommend checking your household or stored-goods insurance.
